Frequently Asked Questions

Which Cars come with the Elmore Certified Program?
Elmore Toyota provides the 7 Year/100,000 Mile Powertrain Warranty on all qualifying pre-owned vehicles (excluding electric vehicles)

How much will the Elmore Certified Program cost?
It's complimentary. We're trying to build "Customers for Life", so the 7 Year/100,000 Mile Warranty comes standard with every qualifying pre-owned vehicle.

What does the Elmore Certified Program Cover?
It covers the engine, transmission, and drive-axles for 2, 4, and all-wheel drive vehicles; including the seals and gaskets for those covered components. The Elmore Certified program also comes with 12 months/12,000 miles of non-powertrain component coverage. This covers steering, suspension, electrical, air conditioning, heating/cooling, fuel systems, switches, audio repairs and sensors.

That’s not all… this warranty also includes roadside assistance, including complimentary towing, flat tire changes, battery and lock out services when a covered component fails. We also provide rental and emergency travel reimbursement when traveling more than 100 miles from home. We’ll reimburse you… it’s that simple!

How long is the Elmore Certified Program good for?
The Powertrain Warranty starts the day you buy the vehicle and coverage continues until 7 years from Jan 1 of vehicle model year or up to 100,000 miles on the odometer, whichever comes first.

The non-powertrain coverage starts the day you buy the vehicle and coverage continues for 12 months or until an additional 12,000 miles are registered on the odometer, whichever comes first.

Is the Elmore Certified Program Transferable?
No. The 7 Year/100,000 Mile Warranty is only available as long as YOU own the vehicle.

Do I have to bring my car back to Elmore Toyota’s service department when I have a warranty claim?
Yes, just come see us at Elmore Toyota and your covered repairs will be taken care of. If you’re traveling or move away, you can take your vehicle to any authorized licensed repair facility in the United States or Canada.

Are there any extra maintenance requirements?
No, just follow the manufacturer's recommended maintenance outlined in your owner's manual.

Do I have to use Elmore Toyota’s Service Department for the required maintenance?
No! Although our service department offers exceptional service at competitive prices, it isn't required. If you don't choose Elmore Toyota for your service, use a licensed repair facility and keep your receipts.
